Week 16 Finals

The finals for this course is a presentation about all the materials including website, xdk, and construct 2 games. I divided the sections for each of the materials. It is mostly about the improvisation from the last projects. I did not improved much on the website and the XDK because as I can see, it is already looks good and easy to understand.

All my project has one common thing to share each other. All of them are using night sky as the background and thus, is the only things that can connecting my whole three projects. Wixsite and XDK slightly is the same concept with exception for purposes. Wixsite is personal branding and XDK is public branding. Construct 2 is a game that created ideally using assets that I created. Some of them are based on portfolio I have in Wixsite. So here is the results:

Adding more images and delete some that are not eye appealing

I used my recent works to make it more flowing and eye catching.

I tried a dummy message so I can review the feedback option in the site. It works and directly sent to my e-mail

XDK:

I did not change much of the project because I feel it is not necessary. Plus, we hardly get any new feedback according to this project. XDK was fun, but it is not really fun in a term of performance. I tried my best to create the things I have in mind, but then and again, the apps is not having all the options that I want. Hence, I tried to maximise its function as much as I can and come up with this application.

Construct 2:

Construct 2 is the most interesting part of this course. I really enjoy creating this project even with the mac os restriction. If I have my windows, I’ll probably will spend the whole three weeks creating a really interesting video game. However, because I cannot work at home freely, therefore I utilise the computer in the lab as much as I can. I use the simple idea, but bringing all the potential it has. I created 5 stages of shooting game, 4 stages of normal battle with different objectives, and one final boss battle. It is static, but fun in my perspective. I also asked several of my friends to try this and they are enjoying the game with exception for the last boss. Very hard battle they said.

Here is the preview and I am still figuring out how to host it online.
