Drawing Achieve May-June 2018
Good morning everyone! I finally have better internet access after spending my half of my holiday in my lovely hometown. I didnt post my archive during May and June. I had a final exam and university exhibition during Early May and then I directly went to my parents’ house day after it ended and spent around one and half month there. I enjoyed my holiday tending the farm and the field so we can grew more crops this time, we also built new well for the new field. Anyway, aside from my boring holiday, here is the archive, I made quite a lot… and I started my comic! HAH!

Panoramic Drawing I did for my portfolio
Some illustrations from GranBlue Fantasy mobile game. I am currently addicted to this game because their art is just way toooooooooo beautiful!
The comic series that I talked about. I called this The Fallen Comic. It is about an angel fall in love with a demon. The comic will cover a daily life of these couple that escaped the war and lost in the human world. I intend to give some lighthearted story, with some of depressions and how past experience could be a really burden.
Self Initiated Project Concentration Week 15, Final!
Fiuh, this week is a rough week because I have to finish this project and have to prepare the exhibition. I have many things to improve with this project and there are still tons of illustrations that I want to animate that havent been done yet! but when there is a will, there is a way! I promised to my self if I can finish all the project before Monday! I will treat my self a new God of War video game! and hey, I actually did it! I finish everything Sunday night and just re upload every progress right now, 00.50 Monday.
Anyway, I manage to finish my project, at last, with all the illustrations done. Although, I really want to have some illustration to be animated/gif, but because time has come, I decided to put them on list and will do it during my free time after exhibition. I improved my grids and layout a bit more and now most of them are using two grids and some parts is using short one grid to adjust with the main illustration, the landscape illustrations. Self Initiated Project Advised Week 15, Final!
The long waited day is here. As I mentioned before, I already finish this project two weeks in advance. However, I made some revisions in the layout and take care of some more text and paragraph alignment. I also revised the grid and the lay out a bit to be more precise. My initial idea is to keep the drawing scattered to be like a journal, and the data will be in one grid and some in two grids depending the type of the informations. Some images are quite big and some quite average. But everything is just is already in a place that I wanted in the first place. So here is the revisions and the video result.
There are not so many revisions, I just clean some areas and make it a bit tidier than before.
Video Diaries 4, Wall Retopology Result!
The last week, we were assigned to retopologize the wall area. We were given some parts and were working with Rahma and Sifa. We divided the object into big three area. The first time, it was very rough and hard to do. I was working with the first way by manually quad drawing the area and then extend it one by one. It was tough task. Then I saw the other were using the simple method. They built a polygon as big as the walls and then multicut it. I decided to follow it, but rather than using polygon and then erase the back, I went with directly drawing a big quad and then multicut it. The result is not that different, but when I relax it, the surface and the area is much easier to handle than before. I decided to do all the work by myself because directly retopology the whole thing is much easier rather than separate them and then combine them again. Double task! So here is the result of how it looks. I use the smooth tool twice or thrice to make the area much smoother than before.
GUI Finals
The final of this course is hella a lot thing to do, from making application, presentation, making report, and written test! That is way too much, but anyway, our final project is to make an application. Rahma and I are in the same group and we were given the e learning application as the topic/theme. We decided to make an application that focus on the student perspective. The application called Lernen and currently we are only making the application for Elementary Student only. Here is the preview and the coding. All the coding and stuff were handled by Rahma, and I provides all the materials and do the illustrations and the others. I am not that familiar with the apps anyway, so I cannot help much.

Video Diaries IV Week 13-14, Retopology Practices
These past two weeks, we are assigned to practice by ourself with any object and then re topologies the object. I decided to use the object that I have already and start retopology it. It was very hard to use the workflow using the mesh and then we multicut everything and adjust the multicut. I decided to use the old method which is extrude and face extrude one by one. It was but slower, but much better result than the other process. I found this is much better than I thought it will be. The result is much tidier when I decided to use the smooth tool.
Self Initiated Project Concentration Week 14, Revision and Layout
Last week to revise thing and do more stuff before submission and exhibition. So this week is a busy week and I completely, gave up using Adobe Muse. There is thing that I cannot do in Adobe Muse and they keep messing around with the stuff i want to have. For instance, I set my assets in grid 100, and when the scroll reach that line, the asset should be animated, yet, nothing happening and the asset didnt appear at all. Therefore, I address this issue with Rodrigo then decided to change my container into more approachable method. I really want to have my project as web graphic novel, but if I want to work on everything in completely new container, I cannot do that, it will be not possible. The only software I understand beside Muse is Dreamweaver or simple html can do this also, but then again, I need to downsize everything to fit in html, and I dont have time coding everything on Dreamweaver and do the test. Hence, I decided to move to E Pub now, it is emergency solution because I have been working with Indesign for a quite long time now and I already understand everything they have. I can execute the effects I want and the layout I want. With exception, there will be no scrolling effects.
I cannot push my self with Adobe Muse again, and I should find a way to finish this project without losing the main show. My illustrations are done (well, I still have 2 chapter left to illustrate, but I already sketch them all and will colour them this weekend) and I have the grid and layout already. Therefore, I can execute this without any concern.

Self Initiated Project Advised Week 14, Revision and Layout
I dont have many revision for this project this week because I want to focus with the other project first. All I need to revise from this project is the layout and I want to to them next week. But here is the previous layout I used. I already used some consistency and the layout in my project, but Rodrigo wants me to revise them. I will do it later after I finish with the other project.
GUI Week 11-14, Final Project Result
Here is the final mobile application project that we design. Rahma and I were making e learning application and we specified the materials for elementary students. This application is the electronic version of the physical book, it has all the national curriculum standards and much more attractive to engage the students to read more. These are the screenshoots of the application.
All the coding and stuff was done by Rahma and I were the one who collect all the materials data and designs the stuff for the application including infographic, and the posters for the presentations.
Self Initiated Project With Advisor Week 13, 99%!
Way to go boi! We actually finish this project in time as what I scheduled. Well, not 100% finished but everything in place already, everything animated, interactivity in place already. I actually very happy with this result, well, I need to improve in some parts, but atleast now I can focus on the other project and can fix this all and once next Wednesday. Phew.
Anyway, here is the project. I have get rid of the unnecessary animation and start focusing to the illustration. The information for the images are hand written in png format. I also put the reference pages and glossary page to help the audience when they do not understand the new words. Now, with all the feature I want already, I can start focus on the other project.
